Synopsis:

Synopsis:
all began in the hectic final London nineteenth century. At a time when magicians are idols most recognized, two young magicians are proposed carve their own path to fame. The flashy, sophisticated Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman) is an accomplished artist, while tough purist Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) is a creative genius who lacks the panache needed to show the public his magical ideas. At first they are both partners and friends who admire each other. However, when the best trick of the two is spoiled, they become sworn enemies and are trying every way to outdo the other and kill it.
