SANTO DOMINGO .- The National Organizing Committee (NOC) of the Convention of the Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD) rejected on Tuesday the suspension of its president Emmanuel Esquea Guerrero Part of the Political Committee of this institution.

The rejection is contained in a resolution signed by the president of the CNO, Esquea Guerrero, the first Vice President Milagros Ortiz Bosch, the second vice president, Hugo Tolentino Dipp, the National Secretariat for Elections, César Sánchez, national secretary Education, Ivelisse Prats de Perez and three miembros.Opinan that the decision of the Political Committee, controlled by Vargas, is illegal, invalid and damaging party democracy.

stressed that the Policy Committee has no jurisdiction to address issues related to the conventional process in light of the general statutes of the PRD, the powers of the Executive Committee and the regulations general.

The National Organizing Committee of the XXIX National Convention deplores the way in which the candidate Miguel Vargas Maldonado has been channeling its claims against the results of the voting which took place on March 6 at the Extraordinary Convention XXIX.

The National Organizing Committee has stressed repeatedly that the Commission Policy has no jurisdiction to deal with matters pertaining to this conventional process in light of the General Statutes of the Dominican Revolutionary Party, the powers of the Executive Committee and General Regulations.

That really shows that the decision of the Political Committee to try and even worse, to suspend the President of the National Organizing Committee, Dr. Emmanuel Esquea Guerrero, is totally illegal, invalid and therefore detrimental to the democracy of the Partido Revolucionario Dominicano.

This decision is even more valid considering that those who voted for her were only the fellow group members Miguel Vargas Maldonado.

The National Organizing Committee firmly rejected that decision, and ignores the appointment of another president, because only the National Executive Committee has the statutory power to appoint the members of this Committee.

would stress this is National Organizing Committee convention delegate for the actions of Comrade Emmanuel Esquea Guerrero, actions that have been shared unanimously by the members constituting a majority in the adoption of resolutions emanating from his breast.
